Team Lead

Position Overview
Breakthrough Ministries partners with men and women to help them move beyond their fears to a place where they are actively engaged in their faith, compelled to love others and excited to share the hope they have in Jesus.

The Team Leader represents Breakthrough Ministires by leading, coaching and overseeing a team of volunteers and going into a specific stream of ministry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a Breakthrough Ministries volunteer team at a specific Ministry Stream.
• Debrief with volunteer team following the ministry group meeting.
• Maintain contact with volunteers to ensure adequate volunteer attendance for each ministry group meeting.
• Record statistics at group ministry meetings and forward to the Director’s Administrative Assistant.
• Encourage volunteer participation at Breakthrough Ministries Ministry Training Events, Celebration Events and other volunteer related activities.
• Represent Breakthrough Ministries to volunteers, organizations, and agencies
• Brainstorm with leadership team/agencies to develop new strategic ministry opportunities.

Funding

• This position is a volunteer position and is unpaid.
• Requires 4 to 8 hours per week

The mission of Breakthrough Ministries is to lead the lost home by furthering the movements of Christian evangelism and discipleship. All Breakthrough Ministries’ staff and volunteers work collectively to further this overall religious mission. The successful candidate for this position must have a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the Breakthrough Ministries Code of Conduct and Common Vows of Discipline. The successful candidate must agree to, sign and, in all good conscience abide by the biblical principles outlined by these documents. It is a pre-requisite of employment at Breakthrough Ministries that any and all staff members and volunteers sign and abide by these documents throughout their course of involvement at Breakthrough Ministries.
